Location and facilities provided by the hotel were excellent. It felt like being transported in such a familiar peaceful ambiance, traditional yet modern, all comfort being provided. The diversity of the activities and impressive landscapes make the site a come back place to discover as well during winter time - with a local flavour of Guenther's cuisine (30min walk from the hotel).
Grand Hotel not recommended, despite the vicinity to the lake the train is passing right on the porch of the hotel, interfering with the music in the evening, rats running between the tables.

Had a great weekend at this hotel. The location was perfect, with easy access to the main attractions and amenities nearby. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options available. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The lack of air conditioning in the room, making it quite warm during the night. However, this was a minor issue and did not affect our overall experience at this hotel.

I loved everything about this place! The location was absolutely perfect - just a short walk to the slopes and the main area of the city. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, with Karin going above and beyond to help us organize ski rental and lessons. The view from our room was simply breathtaking, and we enjoyed relaxing in the sauna and pool each night after a long day of skiing. The amenities were luxurious and the attention to detail was evident throughout our stay.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The hotel is a bit of a walk to the nearest cable car, but by using the summer card provided, it cuts the cost of many trips considerably, not just transport. the dinner menu is not particularly adventurous, but the food is well cooked and tasty. the views from the balcony are great. the breakfast buffet is extremely well stocked with amazing options, from fresh fruit, yoghurt, and nuts, to cold meats, cheese.
The hotel's swimming pool is relatively small and not heated, and the hotel does not offer any fitness amenities.

Exceptional views and superb location just a stone's throw from the ski lifts. Staff were absolutely lovely, always helpful and accommodating. The wellness spa was amazing, very relaxing with an outdoor heated pool and sauna. our Easter holiday at this hotel was fantastic. We enjoyed the beautiful views, convenient location, and the relaxing spa facilities. The wifi could have been stronger, and the ski runs got busy in the afternoon, but these were minor issues compared to the overall wonderful experience. Highly recommended for ski trips!
The wifi was weak, but this is a common problem in the area. Also, we found that the ski runs got quite busy in the afternoon, but if you start skiing early enough in the morning, it shouldn't be a problem.

Staff was so friendly, and the hotel located in quite area. The hotel accepted my extension 4 days more.
The hotel designate my breakfast table in very bad location corner, After I asked the person in charge he told me that this is as per hotel policy (which was not written any were in the booking documents) and he said we can’t change the table location. It seems to me that there are certain nationalities Berner hotel offer them service more than others.

I had an amazing stay at a charming hotel in a beautiful location. My room, a Junior Suite with a balcony, had fine views of the lake and mountainside. The room was spacious and well-equipped with a comfortable bed, ample storage, and a minibar. The bathroom was clean and had a full-sized bath and shower. The hotel's attention to detail was excellent, with daily leaflets suggesting activities and umbrellas provided. The staff were friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure my enjoyment. The half-board meals were really good, with a variety of delicious options for every course. The swimming pool area was lovely with comfortable sun beds. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel to others.
